Bichon

This little girl is still quite young, so she was jumpy and excitable throughout her grooming.

Her owners had cut out some mats all over her body, which was quite difficult to even out, but I managed to save most of the coat.

Summer Cut ShihTzu

 Short top and sides
 Tidy Beard
 And Short All Over

Matted Bichon

It took me an hour to remove all this fur from this Bichon.
But I think she looked adorable and much happier afterwards.

Cairn Mix

A little Cairn mix.
 Before
 After
I was asked to "make him tidy, but not too tight"
He did not like getting his head cut at all, he didn't want to stay still.

ShihTzu, medium length cut.

This is a ShihTzu that I groomed a couple weeks ago.

This is him after his bath.
And this is after, his body came out nicely in my opinion.
His legs were particularly difficult to get even as they are quite bent at the front.
His head could have been better in my opinion, but his mammy likes a longer cut on his head, which was more difficult to perfect.

Some BNE's

Here are some dogs that I have groomed in the past few weeks, these guys were mostly just baths and brush outs. The basics really, necessary nonetheless.
Rottweiler: She got a slight trim around her bum and under her belly. Her dad likes to keep her really tidy.
Cavalier King Charles: Puppy's first grooming, just a little tidy up for her first ever grooming.
Cavalier King Charles: Puppy's first grooming. Another quick tidy-up. King Charles are a very popular breed here.

Beautiful Husky, much preferred the cold water bath. Surprisingly little shed on this occasion.
Japanese Spitz/Pomeranian: Very interesting mix, I wasn't sure what to expect but he was gorgeous. Again just a little trim required.

How time flies...

Finally as I come closer to the twenty second year of my life, I have decided to start a blog.  I don't know why I have come to this conclusion, but I hope it will be an enjoyable experience. Often as I start a new year I dwell on what I have been asked in the previous. Where are you going in life? What are you doing with your time? What are your plans for the future? People seem so focused on where I should be going and how quickly I should be getting there, that there is no focus on the journey.

So this is it, a blog about the journey. As of now I have no idea what this blog may come to contain, or where it may go, but isn't that the beauty of the journey?
